In a cozy corner of Niagara Falls, only a short distance from the world-renown waterfalls, lies a classic taste of Western New York. DiCamillo Bakery was established in 1920 by Tomaso and Addolorata Di Camillo and the help of their 11 children. Migrants from Italy, Tomaso first worked for Nabisco he started baking bread in basement ovens and delivering to the community in horse-drawn wagons.
The bakery not only survived through some of the most difficult times in American history, but also thrived into the modern age. Today, members of the Di Camillo family continue the tradition of baking wholesome baked bread, classic Italian cookies and confections, as well as traditional classic pizzas along with an assortment of other tasty treats.
DiCamillo Bakery has managed to expand to various parts of Western New York, with locations in Niagara Falls, Williamsville, and Lewiston - but their traditional, widely unchanged and still delicious baked goods can be found in multiple regions.
