It's that time again! Join us Sunday, March 3rd for the 50th Anniversary Olcott Lions Polar Bear "Swim for Sight", where thousands gather in Olcott, NY to watch up to 1000 happy and zany souls swim in the frigid waters, tailgate with family and friends, shop from a myriad of local vendors, enjoy amazing music, and visit the many restaurants and bars that surround this beautiful, friendly community on the southern shores of Lake Ontario - all to help those who are less fortunate.
The Olcott Polar Bear 'Swim for Sight' is a fundraiser and community 'fun' day - and WNY's oldest charity swim. You can check out their website by visiting www.olcottlions.org to learn more and see where the money raised by participants and supporters goes.
Organized by the Olcott Lions Club, who organized similar area walk-a-thons, motorcycle dice runs, assist with the Olcott Jazz Trail and the like have our participants raise funds that aid programs for the blind and visually impaired and many other community services.
We hope to see you there!
