Highmark Stadium The Buffalo Bills currently play at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY. This stadium was opened in 1973 as Rich Stadium but has been renamed a few times throughout the years. Highmark Stadium holds a lot of history for the Bills and the city as a whole.



Pictured above is the design for the new Bills stadium! Proposed to be completed in 2026, this stadium will also be located in Orchard Park, New York, and it will be like no other! With aim of capturing the rich history of Buffalo within the stadium’s design, the architects and project team have meticulously considered every minor detail. At a whopping estimated cost of $1.4 billion, the location and distinctive features have been incorporated for specific functions. Given the well-known impact of snow and cold weather at Bills games, some may question the decision to keep the top of the stadium open. Although games can get brutally cold and snowy, too many Buffalonians and Bills fans, which is a key factor in the atmosphere and culture of Buffalo Bills games. The stadium will not be covered by a dome, however, there will be a large canopy covering 65% of the seats. Some other new features include new heating to fight off the bitter cold, gathering spaces, unique concessions, new video screens, and more. As Bills fans, we love our stadium and field, but the news of this new stadium is so exciting!!
