Do you have your Fourth of July plans yet? No matter what may happen there is one necessary aspect to the holiday and that is the fireworks. For those devastated by the cancellation of celebrations last year due to COVID-19 we have good news - the firework shows will go on!
With the exception of UB North’s fireworks being cancelled there are still plenty of places to observe with friend and family. Canalside in downtown Buffalo is usually one of the largest shows in the area but for now they have not released any information on if they will be putting it on this year.
Here is where you can observe fireworks around the Buffalo area this Fourth of July weekend:
Friday, July 2nd
Town of Tonawanda 2021 Fireworks (Kinney Field located at Colvin and Brighton)
Seneca Niagara Casino (310 4th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14303)
Saturday, July 3rd
Akron, NY (Veterans Park)
Chautauqua Institution’s Independence Day Celebration Concert (1 Ames Ave, Chautauqua NY)
Olcott’s Fireworks Over Lake Ontario
Sunday, July 4th
High mark Stadium (Orchard Park, NY)
Seneca Allegany Casino (777 Seneca Allegany Blvd, Salamanca NY)
Hyde Park (Niagara Falls)
Village of Lancaster
The Great Pumpkin Farm (Clarence)
It is without a doubt that this years holiday celebration will top that of 2020, just make sure you’re ready to be where the fireworks are! Send us pictures and stories on how you and your loved ones celebrate the 4th in Buffalo!
